We decided to try something new today so while driving down 1st Street we stopped off at Bill's Grill. Just a small restaurant but we did not leave disappointed. Restaurant was very clean, we seared ourselves and were greeted promptly by our server, Katrina, service was very good and conversation was not lacking. Food came out quick, was served hot, and had good flavor. The wife had chicken fried steak and I enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger. We will definitely stop by again.

Bill's Grill 04-03-24 Me and a couple of my grandsons had lunch here today! It’s a small place but has plenty of room. Has that café diner feeling. Everyone was friendly. Our waitress was very friendly and took care of us right away. I had The Chicken Fried Steak & 2 eggs with Hash Browns, and the best buttery Biscuits. My middle grandson had The Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich with Fries! The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Really Good! My youngest Grandson had The 8 oz Bill's Big Texas Burger w/Fries. Burger was flavorful and cooked just right. All was good and we enjoyed it. So many things to choose from. I want to try so many different things! We will be back.

We came for steak and eggs after going to the VA and will definitely be back. We typically go to Denny's, but decided to try a mom and pop shop. The prices were extremely reasonable too. The waitresses and cooks are phenomenal and made excellent conversations. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice breakfast.

Bill’s is so delicious, affordable and cool that I almost didn’t want to leave this review because it’s Temple’s best kept secret. I’ve tried many local restaurants in town and Bill’s food quality surpasses them in burger, fry and breakfast categories. This patty melt nearly brought me to tears. It’s like a mother’s grilled cheese meets dad’s backyard burgers! (Note: I’m not a fan of onions, those were not included here) The fries are hot and fresh, not over salted and the sweet tea actually tastes sweet! I’d give them 10 stars if I could.
